Creating Workplace Teams
Navigating to Step Log page
Once you are logged in, click on the blue coloured "Step Log" tab to take you to your step log page.
Navigating to Workplace Challenge page
Click on the "Workplace Challenges" link in the "My Workplace" section of the right navigation column to navigate to the Workplace Challenges page.
Workplace Challenges page
This is the "Workplace Challenges" page. There are two sections:
(1) Workplace Challenges: this section holds all the challenges that have been selected or started. It shows the start date, name of the challenge and number of teams involved.
(2) Start Workplace Challenges: you can add challenges by filling out this form.
Navigating to a challenge
To navigate to a challenge, click on the start date (as highlighted) of the challenge. In this example we will select "The 10,000 Steps "Original" Challenge.
Challenge page
This is a challenge page. There are four sections:
(1) Workplace Challenge: details the name, start date, target steps and distance, postcards to be sent, or not, from milestones and the number of teams in this challenge.
(2) Workplace teams: details the teams involved in this challenge and the statistics of the steps they have taken.
(3) Add Team to Workplace Challenge: allows you to add teams to this challenge.
(4) Copy Teams From a Previous Workplace Challenge: enables you to quickly transfer teams over from previous challenges.
Add Team to Workplace Challenge
(1) Enter the name of the team
(2) Enter the captain's email
(3) Click "Save" when you have finished
Once you click "Save", this message will appear to say you have successfully added a team to the workplace challenge.
