Step through South Australia this April in the FREE online 10,000 Steps WalkFest Challenge! The April Challenge offers four virtual journeys across South Australia, designed for different activity levels. Join the Challenge to celebrate WalkFest and the start of the bushwalking season. As the weather starts to cool down in most parts of Australia, April is the perfect time to explore the outdoors. Track your steps each day and complete your journey for a chance to win a Garmin!*

Step 2: Join the Challenge

Step up to the April WalkFest Challenge by selecting one of four scenic journeys through South Australia. Start tracking your steps from April 1 and view your progress on the Challenge leaderboard. If you complete your journey by the end of the month, you will to go in the draw to win a Garmin!*

Celebrate WalkFest

Join the WalkFest 2025 celebration on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, at Belair National Park hosted by Walking SA in partnership with National Parks and Wildlife Service South Australia. This event celebrates South Australia's walking and hiking opportunities, featuring guided walks, an expo of walking clubs, outdoor retailers, and demonstrations. The theme "Connecting with Nature" emphasises accessibility and inclusivity, marking the 100th anniversary of the WEA Ramblers, the state's oldest walking club.

WalkFest 2025 celebrates walking with guided walks, an outdoor expo, and live demonstrations. Explore walking clubs, retailers, and interactive sessions while enjoying South Australia’s scenic trails. Walks cater to all abilities, including family-friendly and accessible options.
