Since 2001, the 10,000 Steps program has supported thousands of Australian organisations in promoting physical activity, health and wellbeing free of charge. Coordinators continue to have free access to the new Coordinator Hub and Blog, which includes physical activity strategy resources.
To ensure we can continue delivering the Tournament features and support you rely on, we’re introducing paid subscriptions for Australian organisations located outside Queensland.
Queensland Organisations with Queensland-based participants continue to access the program for free, proudly funded by the Queensland Government through Health and Wellbeing Queensland. Non-Queensland participants are currently welcome to participate, but receive a limited version of the program. In 2026, upgrade plans will be made available to Queensland organisations to deliver full premium inclusions to their non-Queensland based participants.

Subscription plans are based on the number of individuals who are connected as active members with your Organisation. Each plan provides 12 months access and is paid upfront.

❔Frequently Asked Questions
New Coordinators
Q: My organisation is based in Queensland. Do I need to purchase a plan?
A: No. If you are a Queensland-based organisation with Queensland participants you do not need to purchase a plan. Your all-inclusive access is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through Health and Wellbeing Queensland.
Q: My organisation is located outside of Australia. Can I purchase a plan?
A: No. At this time, payment is only available to Australian organisations. However, you can still access a range of free activity resources through your Coordinator Hub.
Q: How do I get started as a Coordinator?
A: First, create and verify your individual account. Log in with your individual account, and send through your organisation registration here. Once approved, you will be able to access the Coordinator Hub. You will also receive information on how to purchase and activate a plan.
Existing Coordinators
Q: Will I still be able to create new Tournaments?
A: Yes, if you purchase a plan. Tournament creation is only available to organisations with an active subscription.
Q: Can I access past Tournament data without a subscription?
A: Yes. Coordinators without an active subscription will be able to view data from past Tournaments, including leaderboards and downloadable spreadsheets. However, the Coordinator Hub Tournaments page will no longer be available.
Q: Do we need an active Organisation Subscription for a Tournament that commenced prior to subscription launch?
A: If your Tournament commenced prior to the change-over, you will still be able to proceed as planned. However, how you access your Tournament will change.
