Important Update for South Australian Members

Effective from 1st July 2025

Funding Agreement 2020 - 2025

The Funding Agreement between CQ University and Preventive Health SA for the dissemination and evaluation of the 10,000 Steps program in South Australia came to an end 30th June 2025. While some services are no longer available for free in South Australia, all South Australians are welcome to create free individual member accounts and benefit from setting goals, tracking their physical activity, and accessing a range of free individual challenges.

Organisations in South Australia retain access to many tools and resources in their Coordinator Hub. Additional features including Tournaments are now available through Organisation Membership Subscriptions (find out more here).

From 1st July 2025

Changes to program delivery and access for South Australian members include:

  • Organisation Memberships: Access to some Coordinator features including Tournaments and Tournament resources will revert to the access level available to other states and territories across Australia. From November 2025, this includes access to Organisation Membership Subscriptions.
  • Priority Support: The project team now have limited capacity to respond to individual or organisation enquiries from South Australia. However, comprehensive online support resources remain available.
  • Campaign Emails: Automated email series including the Welcome Series for new members and Tournament Success Series for new organisations are no longer sent to South Australian Members and Coordinators. Essential transactional emails (e.g., team additions, password resets, email verification) continue.
  • Billion Steps Challenges: Free state-wide steps challenges are no longer delivered in South Australia.
