Promoter
The promoter is 10,000 Steps, CQUniversity Australia.
Promotion Period
The promotion opens at 9:00 am AEST on 11 September 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm AEST on 27 September 2026.
Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who complete the 2026 Move Together Challenge and Queensland Health Steps Challenge survey during the promotion period.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Successfully complete the relevant post-Challenge survey during the promotion period.
- Provide a valid name and email address when submitting the survey.
Only one entry per person will be accepted. Incomplete, illegible, duplicate, fraudulent, or misleading entries will be deemed invalid.
Prize
One (1) winner will receive a Garmin vĂvosmart® 5 activity tracker.
The total prize value is approximately AUD $249 (RRP).
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the promoter's control, 10,000 Steps reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
Prize Draw
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the promotion period.
The draw will take place on or before 30 September 2026.
Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted by email using the email address provided in the survey.
The winner must respond to the email and provide:
- Their preferred activity tracker size; and
- A postal address for prize delivery.
Unclaimed Prize
If the winner does not respond within 14 days of the initial notification, 10,000 Steps reserves the right to conduct a redraw and award the prize to another eligible entrant.
Privacy
Personal information collected for the purposes of the prize draw, including participants' names and email addresses, will be used to administer the prize draw, contact the winner, and deliver the prize.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with CQUniversity Australia's Privacy Policy.
Liability
The promoter is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or incorrectly submitted entries due to technical disruptions, network failures, or other reasons beyond its reasonable control.
The promoter will take reasonable steps to deliver the prize but accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, delay, or damage occurring during delivery.
To the extent permitted by law, the promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered as a result of entering this promotion or accepting or using the prize.
General Conditions
10,000 Steps reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
The promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, suspend, or cancel the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
By submitting the survey, entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
